This project explores, elaborates upon, and further develops an approach to Arabic and ancient Greek poetry and philosophy; it focuses on Homer, Aristotle Plato and al-Fārābi, exploring further the concept of political Prometheanism (as developed in my first monograph). It advances a bottom-up model of cosmopolitanism, inspired by interpretations of Homer and al-Fārābi’s ‘Hellenism’. This project proposes a novel philosophical narrative for participatory politics as well as for global cooperation and collaboration.

Project Venue: Department of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Supervised by Professor Georgios Steiris
